The SOFA (SCHOOLOF FINE ART) is a Non Government Organization (NGO) and Non Profit Making Organization. It is dedicated to ART, CULTURE, EDUCATION, SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT and CONSUMER WELFARE. It has the mandate to support sustainable development through skill upliftment training in order to reduce poverty and eradicate economic disparity, equal opportunity to all regarding education, service and total health to contribute to a more secure, equitable and prosperous eco-friendly world. We strife to make the world more beautiful, safer, healthier and happier place for all living beings of our time as well as for the posterity. Art is the genesis of all these IDEA. SOFA, is a Non - Governmental Organization (NGO). INDIA-based non-profit organization, operating in BARGARH DISTRICT and in Odisha SOFA came in to being on 17th June 1992, and registered in 1997. With clear mandate is to increase public awareness about Global Development Issues, and focuses and development cooperation’s, and resources mobilizations, to give adequate response decisively on global concerns, in order to contribute to the implementation of the Eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set by the United Nations, agreed internationally by world leaders, and leading development institutions – to meet the needs of the world’s poorest, and to straighten Capacity to Enhance Contributions to Human Security and Local Sustainable Development Programs in its area of operation. SOFA”S mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world’s poorest people to gain the hope for better future and improve their quality of life through the access to VOCATIONAL TRAINING,SKILL DEVELOPMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, food security, drinking water, health, education, poverty, HIV-AIDS programs, using local skills and practical, sustainable technologies to support development humanitarian projects on relief and rehabilitations programs, to secure the empowerment of indigenous peoples, local communities, women, groups and individuals. |
